Stories of Culture, Place and the Quiet Human Moments in Between
—-
At Tildys Studio Living, film is a form of living art — where emotion, memory and human connection unfold with cinematic depth and intention. Our stories are shaped through conversation, shared rituals, everyday environments and the quiet moments that define who we are. Drawing on strong aesthetics, cultural sensitivity and authentic human storytelling, we create independent films and brand collaborations that resonate deeply, build connection and honour identity, belonging and lived experience. Each project is crafted to feel honest, visually compelling and meaningful — storytelling made to stay with people long after the screen fades.
Between Roots
A documentary series exploring identity, belonging, and the liminal spaces between cultures. Filmed across Australia, the series follows artists, makers, and creative practitioners, sharing their art practices, cultural backgrounds, and life stories. Each film sits between making and being — where craft, culture, and lived experience intersect, shaped by place, time, and memory.
Project Resonance
This short-form reel series explores the emotional, philosophical, and deeply human side of bonsai. Rather than focusing on technique, it centres on people — their inner worlds, values, memories, and life stories. Through quiet conversations and lived moments, the series reflects on how bonsai shapes the way we think, feel, and move through the world.
This playlist documents quiet bonsai practice in my Australian workshop.
Each film is a longer-format extension of my studio reels, shared without narration and focused on real-time process.
The work centres on bonsai and some iconic Australian native species, including Kunzea, explored through maintenance, refinement, and long observation. These are slow, grounded moments of practice — best watched without rushing.
